“Double Or Nothing” stars David Duchovny who is stunned when his beloved fiancé inexplicably commits suicide just before their marriage. He discovers her secret diary that exposes parts of her life that he never knew existed. In an effort to try and understand what could have driven her to this desperate act, he places an ad in the newspaper asking women to send him their own diaries, to reveal their own most intimate secrets. Each episode tells one of thsse stories and features young actors at the beginnings of their careers who have gone on to become recognizable stars in both movies and television.

“Dear Red Shoes, I have a brand new model that might help you: Risk all to gain all. Sometimes you gamble and lose, and sometimes you gamble and win. All I can say is that sometimes your worst nightmare can end up being your salvation. At least that’s the way it turned out for me….” And so begins this episode’s letter to Red Shoe Diaries. When Alicia teams up with another pool hustler, she learns to discern the game of pool from the game of life and love. In the game of pool it takes two to play and one victor over the other. In the game of life, nobody need win or lose.
