Initial Expectations: I’ve had mixed reactions to Julian St. Jox’s work behind the camera, so I’m not sure what to expect here.
Initial Reaction: Although the editing didn’t do much for me, the sex was great!

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is normally clear, but often slightly off balance. There’s also a fair amount of background noise throughout the feature, from dogs barking and traffic outside to Julian and the crew quietly talking inside. The video varies slightly, but normally has only a small amount of grain and good lighting. There are a few spots with some pixelation and shadows that interfere, but thankfully they’re not throughout the entire feature.

Disc Problems / Complaints: The feature is split over two titles on the DVD, with the break occurring about an hour into the movie and in the middle of the scene. As usual, once you start the second title you can’t go back to anything in the first title without going through the main menu. This is a pretty juvenile problem that I thought adult companies had moved past.
Menus: The main menu is pretty simple, with a small clip of the feature being the only animation in it. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip from each scene.
The Feature: Julian St. Jox is back and behind the camera again with what he claims is our lucky number seven. In addition to nicely showing the new female talent’s name while showing her picture in the opening credits, Julian introduces each scene himself. Needless to say, each scene concentrates on new black women who are supposedly of the finest sort.
Mandy Malone, a nice looking black woman with nice natural tits and who’s done about eleven movies, starts things out showing Julian and Valentino what she brings to the party. She plays to the camera as much as she does to the guys as they start their explorations of her hills and valleys, before finally bending over to give Julian’s joystick a little attention. It’s a pretty average scene for me, but there was a lot of stuff I didn’t care for. The banter between Julian and Valentino was nice, but there was often a bit of misogyny that I rarely like. There were also a lot more close-ups than I can for, but I think some of that was to cover up for Mandy’s mugging the camera.

Julian St. Jox shows some a lot of potential with Premium Black Pussy Search 7. The editing didn’t impress me much, and often focused on close-ups a lot more than I like. I often felt myself reaching for the remote because the close-ups went on so long that I was afraid I’d forget what the performers actually looked like. Although this held things back for me, Julian’s cast selection made this a feature worth paying attention to. Everybody in the movie showed a lot of enjoyment of sex, and it comes across well in every scene. They aren’t always wildly vocal or energetic, but they’re always enjoying themselves. Sherrie May, Lovely, and Soliel really stood out for me here, but the rest of the cast also did a great job. If you’re a fan of black women, Premium Black Pussy Search 7 should be checked out as soon as possible.
Extras: The photo gallery lasts about two and a quarter minutes with about eight seconds per nice looking snapshots. There’s also internet and company information and a behind the scenes featurette.
The behind the scenes featurette lasts about eight and a half minutes, and nicely mixes interviews with the stars and the scenes being shot. None of the interviews get too technical, but they’re enough to get a little feel for the personality of most of the stars. Although many behind the scenes featurettes only concentrate on the ladies, which this one also does nicely, it also works Byron Long into the interviews, which I thought was a nice touch. If you enjoyed the movie, you’ll probably enjoy this featurette as well. It isn’t anything amazingly astounding, but it is a nice cherry on top of this chocolate sundae.

Overall: Currently, most of the Premium Black Pussy Search series can be found online for between $12 and $21 with many stores offering them for under $15. If you’re a fan of black sex, this is going to be money well spent. The sex, although not perfect, is very enjoyable. The transfer’s fairly average, but there’s a nice behind the scenes featurette to make the DVD a little better overall.
