Alice In Wonderland

"Alice In Wonderland" starts out with the chaste librarian Alice breaking up with her horny boyfriend. Seems he can’t control his hands and Alice just isn’t ready to go all the way. After the deed is done, she bursts into the first song of the movie and it’s actually really, pretty good. In no time she’s through the looking glass chasing the proverbial white rabbit.

I have to admit, the first time I saw Alice completely naked I wanted to make her eat a sandwich – or twenty. Back in the day wasn’t the standard of beauty supposed to have been plumper? Goodness this girl makes Kate Moss look overfed, but it quickly becomes apparent that she’s not the only waif in the film. One thing to all these ladies credit, natural breasts! I love real boobs as they bounce and sway and there were few bras to be found in this film, let alone concealing clothing. But there is lots of dancing and running, so there’s lots of free bouncing goodness to observe.

One of the best adult films I’ve ever seen, somehow the world ‘porn’ is just too crass for this movie. They really took their time establishing plot and character before getting down to the skin bits and didn’t skimp on important plot points so they could get to the sex that much faster. The acting was actually acting. Unfortunately a lot of the sex wasn’t actually sex; sometimes the director went with a parody of the act instead. Other times instead of being sexy, the sex scenes focused on innocent exploration and joy which in some instances was a lot hotter and in others was just distracting. Even so there are still a few hardcore scenes mixed in at the beginning and near the end that step up the films hotness considerably.

All in all, “Alice In Wonderland” was like a time capsule of the most hedonistic part of the 70?s; fun, funny, flirty, nearly nude but still very chaste by today’s hell-in-a-hand-basket standards. A truly erotic classic that I’d say just about everyone should be able to get a kick out of.
