Red Light's First All-Girl DVD

Girl On Girl is Red Light District's first foray into all-girl gonzo, and the results are really a mixed bag. Two of the five scenes are pretty good, but most of the action seemed scripted instead of spontaneous; and there was far too much toy use in the movie (a big no-no, especially among die-hard lesbian fans).

The movie kicks off with Ava Ramon and Eva, two brunettes - with Ava being the one with straight hair and Eva having more curly hair (I only mention this because the director fails to point out who is who). After some kissing, fingering and mutual oral, Eva dons a strap-on and gives it to Ava doggy style, followed by some anal in the reverse cowgirl position. Because of the role reversal implications, strap-ons are one of the few toys I don't mind seeing used in all-girl action, so watching Ava submit to Eva's toy was kind of fun to watch. The scene finishes up with Ava using a blue dildo on Eva.

A scene that does work is the next one between blonde-haired Kelle Marie and brunette Mikayla. The scene starts out nicely enough - with both girls rubbing baby oil on each other's bodies, but it really turns into a toy-fest during the second half - with the women sharing a double-ender and with Kelle shoving anal toys into Mikayla's ass.

The most attractive pairing in Girl On Girl occurs in Scene 3, with dark-haired Sarah Blake and redhead Justine (yes, the same Justine you've seen in Andrew Blake flicks). After some oral on Sarah, Justine lowers her pussy onto Sarah's face and then reaches down to finger her. Sarah returns the oral for a few minutes, and then the two gals move into some toy play, taking turns using a blue dildo on the other.

Another pair of brunettes (one of the more refreshing things about this title is the lack of blondes - Kayla Marie is the sole flaxen-haired performer) is up next with box cover girl Charisma Cole teaming up with Brianne. After sharing a double-ender, Breanne wears a strap-on and fucks Charisma in the reverse cowgirl position; followed by Charisma wearing a strap-on of her own and pounding Brianne doggy. For some reason, the scene ends abruptly, with Brianne still taking it doggy from Charisma. Why the action got cut off here is anyone's guess.

In the last scene we spend a few minutes on the couch getting to know Mia Beck, who is pretty inexperienced when it comes to girl-girl action. Soon, she is joined by dark-haired Nikki Loren and redhead Charlie Laine for a threesome. After plenty of oral and fingering, Charlie slips on a purple strap-on and gives it to Mia doggy while Mia is giving oral to Nikki. Then Nikki climbs aboard the strap-on and rides Charlie cowgirl. Things finish up with Charlie masturbating with a large purple dildo, which she also allows Nikki and Mia to shove in and out of her.

The extras on this disc include a 23-minute behind the scenes segment, a slide show, and access to the Red Light District website for those using the DVD on a computer drive.

This isn't quite the title I was hoping for, but it's not a horrible start. There's just not enough to set it above other gonzo releases that feature all-girl action. Perhaps using more "first-timers" (like Mia Beck) and allowing the girls to do what they want instead of directing them to do various positions (which Luger does way too much of) is the way to go in future volumes.
