The Story of a Naughty Little Angel...with a bite.

It's been a bad day for Tough Tony. First the Boss has him whacked. Then some twerp of a Routing Manager won't let him into Heaven until he's played guardian angel to a bunch of losers, and teams him with Joe Doggs, who Tony wrapped in cement a few years back. Schmuck's idea of a joke is to send Tony into a shower to save the wrong naked girl. Then Tony tries to protect Sam, the Boss' gorgeous hacker, but the fox eats a slug and is whisked up into Celestial Accounting. And this is only the beginning.

Send Me An Angel...Right Now...

By Spooky
Those looking for a good couples-oriented adult film to enjoy an evening with could do a lot worse than Blue Angel, a Bud Lee film that features Asia Carrera on the box cover, but focuses on male star Steven St. Croix.

Steven plays a gangster who is off to whack yet another guy who has double crossed Steven's boss (played by Evan Stone). But before he puts a bullet in the guy, he screws his girlfriend (Monique DeMoan) right in front of him - a girlfriend, I might add, who is only more than willing to please Mr. St. Croix in any way he sees fit!

But Evan finds out that the latest guy who Steven has vouched for is, in fact, a government plant, so Evan arranges for Steven to " with the fishes". Steven is shot in the head and finds himself between heaven and hell in a "routing area" that is run by George Kaplan. George explains to Steven that to get into heaven, he's going to have to go back to Earth and help some people out. However, he must be assisted on his journey by Joe Doggs (Herschel Savage), a man who Steven actually killed!

This is where the fun part of Blue Angel begins. Herschel plays the role of Steven's guide and mentor in the afterlife, while Steven plays the less-than-willing angel who has to save some helpless mortals. In his first good deed, Steven must save Nikita Denise from a mugger, who repays Steven by starting to blow him, and then turning her attention to Chris Cannon and Joey Ray, from which she gets double penetrated.

In a more humorous scene, Steven is assigned to save a girl from falling in the shower, but almost dies a second time when he gets sent to the wrong shower and Aurora Snow and Kate Frost (looking fantastic dressed as a maid) almost beat Steven to death for intruding! Steven manages to get away, and we get to watch Aurora and Kate make out in the shower!

But the real plot twist comes when Steven is sent back to his old boss and a stray bullet hits and kills Asia Carrera (who does all the computer work for Evan). Now, Asia is in the afterlife as well, and not only does she help George Kaplan straighten out all his records, but she and Steven team up for a great sex scene (the last one in the film) and the potential promise of more adventures to follow.

Blue Angel almost seems like a set-up for future movies featuring the same characters, rather that a stand-alone film. In fact, even the closing dialogue suggests that this may be just the first of a film series. If this is indeed the case, then Blue Angel is a pretty good first chapter. However, if no sequels are planned, then there is a lot of unexplored territory and questions that this movie never gets around to answering.

The real gem in this double DVD set is the bonus disc, which features interviews with many members of the cast (including Asia), a bloopers reel, a 30-minute behind the scenes featurette, two extended scenes from the movie, an interview with Bud Lee about the film, photo galleries and trailers. The quality of the video is top-notch on this disc, and the audio is also above-average for an adult production.

Blue Angel is one of the first DVDs released by the new Simon Wolf Productions company (prior to this, most Simon Wolf movies were released through the Adam & Eve label), and I was quite impressed by what was offered here. Blue Angel isn't a great adult film, but it's a good one, and those who enjoy watching adult features should be happy with the amount of entertainment they'll get from this 2-DVD set.
