A Devil of a Good Time...

Aurora Snow is probably best known to adult fans as the cute girl in all those gonzo titles who isn't shy about being double (and on a few occasions even triple) penetrated. However, in Roommate From Hell, Aurora shows that she's leading lady material as well, staring in this above-average feature from Simon Wolf and director Bud Lee that I found quite enjoyable to watch.

The movie begins with Aurora on her way home to her boyfriend, Chris Cannon. But when she walks in the door, she finds him getting a blowjob from Ashley Moore while Sharon Wild is masturbating on their couch. Aurora storms out, so Chris figures he might as well enjoy the fun and continues his threesome with the girls.

Not having a place to stay, Aurora moves in with her friend, Holly Hollywood. Aurora explains that she has a business dinner with Joel Lawrence coming up, and Holly allows her to have the dinner at her place. But after dinner, Holly winds up seducing Joel, causing Aurora to storm out of the room and wind up getting fired the next day by her boss (Mike Horner).

With no job and no money, Aurora moves into a new place, but quickly puts out an add for a new roommate. The first reply that she gets is from April, who winds up walking in on Aurora when she is masturbating on the couch and then has sex with Joey Ray, even though Aurora has specified to her that she not bring any men into the apartment. The next morning, Aurora kicks April out, and it looks like she's going to be struggling for money again when Herschel Savage shows up in a black stretch limo with a wad of cash and needing Aurora's place to stay for a few days.

Since Aurora needs the money, and Herschel has a lot of it, she puts up with his sexual thirsts, including making out with his limo driver, Jade, while cooking steaks in the kitchen. In fact, Aurora has gotten so frustrated with all the sex going on around her, that she finally gives in and makes out with Jade herself in front of Herschel.

With her car repossessed, her checks bouncing and her credit cards cancelled, Aurora has nowhere to turn. So Herschel makes her an offer that she may not be able to refuse, and he reveals his true self to Ms. Snow in the process. Will Aurora be able to resist the temptation or will she give the "devil" his due? I wouldn't dream of giving it away, but the film ends with a nice resolution, some boy/girl sex for Aurora, and a bit of a cliffhanger that suggests that we may see these characters in action again, should this film prove successful with fans.

As is the case with most Simon Wolf releases, both the video and audio on this DVD are above average, with a nice number of bonuses. There are interviews (which you can also find on other Simon Wolf discs) with Aurora, April, Holly, Mike Horner and Joel Lawrence; a photo gallery; and five previews for other Simon Wolf releases.

Better than most adult features that get released, Roommate From Hell showcases an attractive cast in an interesting story that couples and singles alike should enjoy watching.
