This DVD Made Me Rock Hard!

Barrett Blade is behind the camera for Rock Hard: Making The Video, a 2-disc release that mixes some fictionalized porn in with the real-life making of an OPM music video, which Blade also directed.

I have to be honest with you, I didn't expect much going into this release, so I was quite surprised to find that the sex is well-shot (and in glorious anamorphic widescreen) and the action is pretty arousing. And while Rock Hard may not be the best porn movie you'll come across this year, it is one your going to remember...and, chances are, watch more than a few times.

There are six sex scenes in the movie, with the first one being a threesome between Texas Presley, Cassie Courtland and James Deen. For those not familiar with the actresses here, Cassie is a "classic blonde," while Texas is a busty, tattooed brunette. James gets to try out both women during this scene, taking Cassie in the standing doggy and cowgirl positions, and also getting to pump Texas reverse cowgirl and spoon. After making out with the girls around a stripper pole and then later on a leather couch, James finally can hold back no longer and jerks his load down onto their waiting faces.

Alex Divine is up next for a one-on-one with Tyler Durden that takes place on a bed. This is one of two scenes in Rock Hard that contains anal penetration, as Alex takes Tyler's cock up her ass in the missionary and doggy positions. Alex's hair is a little longer than I'm used to seeing her have it in this movie, and she looks quite sexy! The pairing ends with a facial for Ms. Divine.

Covergirl and exclusive Sin City contract star Gina Austin is featured in Scene Three, and this marks the first time (I believe) that I have watched Gina perform. She's a former Penthouse model and covergirl(Sept. 2005, to be exact!), and I was impressed with her enthusiasm in this scene as she pairs up with Kris Knight on a staircase. Gina gets standing doggy, reverse cowgirl and cowgirl, and while Kris' load isn't the most impressive I've seen in a porn movie, Gina does take his cum on her face.

Sophia gets the next two scenes; first a blowjob only scene with a security guard played by Anthony Hardwood, and then a full-blown sex scene with Chris Cannon, who is playing OPM's manager. Sophia is playing a groupie who will do anything to meet the band, and we find out just how far she will go in these two segments. The blowjob scene, in particular, is quite hot - even though it only contains oral action and a bit of tit-sex. The scene with Chris is the second scene to feature anal action, with Sophia getting her backdoor filled in the missionary and reverse cowgirl positions.

The final sex scene in Rock Hard is technically a foursome, although the two couples never interact with one another. On one leather couch we have Avena Lee teaming up with Billy Glide, while on the couch beside them brown-haired Joey and the heavily-tattooed Joe Friday go at it. Both guys conclude by giving their partner a facial, although Billy's facial for Avena is by far the more impressive of the two.

Rock Hard wraps up with the 3 ½ minute OPM music video, which can also be seen separately on the second disc in this set. Disc Two also contains a 13-minute Behind The Scenes featurette; interviews with all the girls in the movie (which run a few minutes each); a cumshot recap; a pair of photo galleries (one hardcore, one softcore); four separate music tracks; plus a website ad and some phone sex ads. In addition to the movie, Disc One also contains six trailers for other Sin City releases.

I can't say that I'm an OPM fan (in fact, I'd never even heard of these guys prior to this release), but I can say that if you're looking for well-shot gonzo sex with a rock n' roll-type theme, that this is the DVD for you. I found Rock Hard to be both sexy and fun, and it's worth a spot on your DVD shelf.
