One's love of gangbang action and/or star Stephanie Swift will definitely effect how much you love GANGBANG ANGELS 1, now on DVD from Elegant Angel. I, for one, have never been a big fan of gangbang movies. Just too many guys and too few girls for my tastes. In the case of GANGBANG ANGELS 1, Stephanie has a few friends in the finale to help keep the other guys hard, but we hardly see them. The focus here is solely on Stephanie and how much cock she can handle in one serving. Turns out that it is a lot!

The movie opens with Ms. Swift out by the pool dressed in a leopard print outfit, which she slowly removes to reveal her body. While masturbating, Stephanie tells us what all she is going to have done to her in the movie's gangbang. She keeps saying that there are going to be 12 guys. The box and text on the DVD say 13, and since I wasn't really trying to count, I'll take the DVDs word for it! I don't think Stephanie was keeping track herself to tell you the truth.

Once again, she keeps telling us how many guys she is going to do in the final scene, and what she is going to let them do to her. Finally, it's onto what we have all been waiting for. So how did I feel about the film? Well, it's kind of a mixed bag...it looks like everyone had a lot of fun making the film, but the directing and editing are so distracting at times it takes away from the enjoyment. For starters, the quality of the film is not very sharp. The film also goes back and forth between black and white and color. There are scenes that are intentionally grainy, supposedly for "effect", and sometimes the cameraman acts like he is trying to win an Oscar...or at least an AVN award. Here's a little tip for the future...when you are filming a gangbang with a porn superstar, you don't need any fancy effects...the premise is all the special effects you need! Put in the hands of someone more capable, GANGBANG ANGELS 1 could have been really hot. As it is, it is just mediocre, even with the likes of someone as sultry and slutty as Stephanie Swift. Unfortunately the extras are not much to get excited about either, with only a few previews, a photo gallery and little else.

Synopsis: The original "Gang Bang Angels" isn't exactly what you'd call a politically correct affair. For one thing, none of the guys in it even think about wearing a condom, a definite "NO NO" in today's safe sex society. And the way those same dudes lasciviously violate sweet Stephanie Swift in every way imaginable, you'd think we were living in the Stone Age instead of the age of equal rights (Envision what happens to Rae Dawn Chong in "Quest For Fire," and you'll have a good idea as to what they do to the sultry Ms. Swift in this flick.). Luckily, the moral majority isn't into watching adult films (at least not as a means of enjoyment). Instead, its loyal viewers like us that keep the industry afloat. With that in mind, producer Patrick Collins and director Robert Black have given us everything we like to see on this XXX-rated DVD. There's clitoral, anal, oral and all sorts of other raunchy types of sex. And it's all directed at wild & crazy Stephanie. Most pornos use at least four or five girls to perform all the sexual positions and acts that you see on this disc. But Steph does it all by her lonesome - with some help from 13 horned up guys, of course! This was the movie that started it all for the "Gang Bang Angels" collection. It's where (thanks largely to Stephanie Swift) it received its reputation as one of the top smut series on the market today. Watch this DVD, and you'll immediately know why.

Commentary: Well, here we are at another Labor Day weekend - a time that's normally set aside each year to allow the "working stiff" to relax. After watching this DVD, though, I find it difficult to believe that Stephanie Swift adheres to that long standing tradition. In fact, she gives new meaning to the phrase "working stiff" altogether. Instead of relaxing, she's "working" (and working "hard," I might add) to please a group of 13 anxious guys, thus making my dick (and all of theirs) "stiff" in the process.

Believe me, I've always enjoyed Labor Day, but this one was extra, extra special! And it had nothing to do with watching another "Jerry Lewis Telethon" (although that event - which champions the battle against Muscular Dystrophy - is, indeed, a worthy one to which I hope you'll all make a charitable donation. Remember, every little bit helps! And now that my good deed for the day is done, I'll get off of my soapbox and get on with this review...). Instead, it had every thing to do with watching Stephanie get violated in a variety of ways. Truth be told, it really doesn't have to be Labor Day to enjoy the action on this disc. There's so much going on in the feature presentation that you'll be too busy watching it a second and third time to see what you might have missed.

Intangibles: I have to give Steph a bonus star for all of the hardcore anal sex she received. I'm sure it hurt by the end of the shoot. In fact, looking at her pained expression, I'd wager that it definitely was a bit uncomfortable to say the least. Kudos to her for carrying on with little complaint while she was on screen.
