Gauntlet 3, The

Essentially three full-length gonzo flicks in one package, The Gauntlet 3 may cost a little more than your average release, but it still provides plenty of bang for viewer's porn buck. For those not familiar with this Vouyer Media series, The Guantlet titles take one girl and run her through a series of sexual scenarios - usually involving multiple partners and multiple pop-shots.

Disc One of this three-disc set focuses on 18-year-old redheaded newcomer Faye Valentine. As viewers will pick up on quickly, the movies are essential broken down into the following segments: first, an interview with the talent; followed by some black and white footage where the girl is picked up at her home the morning of the shoot; and finally the girl "walking the Gauntlet" (her sex scenes).

One of the issues I had with this release is that Vince Vouyer (who directed) opted to add visual lines and streaks through the interview footage (on all three DVDs) to make the shot-on-HD camera footage "look" more like film. I've seen the same concept work in other adult releases, but it turns out to be just distracting in a gonzo title like this one. Fortunately, Vouyer doesn't screw around with the video during the sexual action.

When it's time for Faye to begin performing, her first scene involves her being blindfolded, then sucking the rather large cock of Jack Napier. It's a hot, interracial blowjob, and Faye looks stunning - wearing a black bra, panties and heels. The blindfold comes off early during the blowjob (I kind of wish she had left it on until after the pop-shot), and Faye's first segment ends with her taking a mouthful of Jack's cum, which she swallows down.

Super sexy brunette Rebeca Linares then shows up, spanking Faye with a cat o' nine tails, then putting a collar around her neck and leading her into another room. After a little lesbian play between the two girls, Rebeca leads Faye to the other side of the room where a group of guys are waiting on them. Both girls get fucked, but it's really Rebeca that steals the show - not only taking anal, but getting double penetrated as well. The cumshots here are really creative, as each one of the guys gives Faye and internal pop-shot, which is then sucked out by Rebeca and cum swapped into Faye's mouth.

Faye finds herself blindfolded once again as she goes into another room and start sucking off four more guys. The blindfold is soon removed, and Faye is placed onto a sex swing where the guys take turns throat fucking her. Eventually all four of them jerk into her mouth. Going into yet another room, Faye gives blowjobs to and gets fucked by another quartet, who again finish up by depositing loads into her mouth.

Faye's final Gauntlet task is to swallow loads from a group of ten guys. There's not really any blowjob action here - Faye just lets the guys jerk off into her mouth in what's almost a bukkake-like segment. For those keeping count, Ms. Valentine swallows down a total of 23 loads on this disc. Impressive!

Disc Two brings us Crissy Moon, a performer I'm not all that familiar with, but whom I quickly took a liking to. She points out in her interview segment with Vince that she's never done anal on camera, and she's totally not into doing interracial. Well, she's about to make some of her fans happy with this release. She doesn't do any interracial...but we do get to see her take cock up her behind.

Before we get to that, Crissy begins her Gauntlet journey in a blowbang with 10 guys, ending with her swallowing all 10 of their loads. Crissy then enters another room where La'Rin Lane is already busy making out with four other guys. Crissy joins in on the fun, and this segment ends just like Faye and Rebeca's did on Disc One: with Crissy getting internal pop-shots, and with La'Rin sucking out the cum and then swapping it into Crissy's mouth.

La'Rin then suggests to Crissy that they should both get butt-fucked. Crissy isn't sure about it, but La'Rin talks her into it, and warms up her behind by lubing up Crissy's ass and inserting sex toys into it - with each proceeding one a little larger than the one that came before. Four guys then show up, and we get to see both Crissy and La'Rin in anal action. La'Rin gets the pop-shots here, but she does swap some of the cum with Crissy.

The final scene has Crissy and La'Rin entering another room full of guys (I counted nine, but there might have been ten) and blowbanging them. The cumshots here are pretty much evenly distributed between the two women, with the final guy shooting his wad in both girls' mouths and faces.

The final disc in this set features perhaps the best known pornstar in the bunch: Maya Hills, who happened to launch her career primarily through her appearance in Vouyer's very first Gauntlet release. It's nice to see her back in a Vouyer Media release, although as far as the sexual action goes, Maya is the tamest of the three women featured in The Gauntlet 3.

The theme of Maya's Gauntlet challenge is to take anal (and only anal - no vaginal) in seven different scenarios. The biggest downside to Maya's scenes, however, is that all seven of her encounters are one-on-one only. To perhaps compensate for this, Vince Vouyer has given each one of them a different theme.

Before the boy/girl sex begins, Maya goes into a room where Faye Valentine is waiting for her on a bed. Faye loosens up Maya's backdoor by trying a number of different toys on her ass, including a string of anal beads.

Maya then goes into a school room for "Anal 101", during which she does a "student" on top of one of the desks. This scene, as well as the six that follow, all conclude with oral pop-shots that Maya swallows.

Maya school room scene is followed by ones in which Tommy Gunn is tied to a cross; Chris Charming plays a patient to her nurse; a simple one-on-one on a couch; a jail cell scene with Talon; a scene where Maya plays a stripper and takes on a patron; and a "Last Man Standing" scene with her and Jerry.

By itself, Maya's portion of The Gauntlet 3 would be impressive, but Faye and Crissy's two performances are so impressive, that when you get to Maya's material, you can't help but feel a little deflated (in more ways than one!). Vouyer Media would have probably better served themselves by placing Maya on the first DVD and Faye on the last, but regardless, this is an excellent collection of hardcore discs and scenes, and I didn't knock off any points in my overall rating just because Maya didn't get as "nasty" as the other two girls (and when you take anal and aren't called "nasty," that tells you just how kinky Faye and Crissy were in their segments!).

It's also worth pointing out that Vouyer Media has done an excellent job with the bonus materials on each of these three DVDs. Each disc contains a "Cutting Room Floor" featurette with behind the scenes footage, and each one is rather lengthy (Faye's is the longest at 78-minutes, and Maya's the shortest, at 58). There's also an "Aftermath Interview" on each DVD, which is essentially Vince's "exit interview" with each of the girls after their sexual performances. Each disc also contains four slide shows and a handful of trailers for other Vouyer Media titles.

Because this is a multi-disc release, the asking price of The Gauntlet 3 is a little higher than the typical Vouyer release. Not to worry, since buyers are essentially getting three complete movies on this release. It will take a while to watch it all, but most potential viewers out there are going to be very happy with The Gauntlet 3. How The Gauntlet 4 can top this one, I have no idea!

This Gauntlet 3 is the shit, Faye Reagan was the GOAT, and everything on the first disc is worth watching if you're a fan of hers. Lots going on in this movie and as advertised... she swallows 23 loads!!

I've only seen the first DVD yet but it's worth every penny especially consider that you get two more dvds with it. It's nice to see the young Faye doing the casting and talking about it. I consider this of real added value. As she walks the Gauntlet you will only regret that this freckled faced kid is no longer in the business ??
