Too Much of a Good Thing

By Oranje
I generally love the films Harmony puts out, but Slam It! In a Filthy Fucker is all just a little bit too much. What, with the overstatement in the title all the way to the appearance of the talent, the set up, the action, it's all just overdone in a way that's almost to the point of being vulgar. And I say that as someone who is a fan of adult entertainment!

Take Sorana's scene as an example. I find her to be a very attractive brunette, though the make-up she has on makes her look much too overly stern. Like she's not approachable kind of stern. The patterned stockings do some good towards overcoming this, but not enough. It's a BBG scene, and we spend an inordinate amount of time looking solely at penetration. It's actually a bit boring, and the lack of lighting shows up in the scene as well. There are far too many jump cuts, too, and most of them seem to go from body part to body part on Sorana, making it seem like we've kind of cut her up for parts. Also, as can be the case in Euro porn, there's too much anal to vaginal to anal and so on going on for my taste. It's like they're seeing what her body can do rather than showing us a film. An internal anal cumshot is make much to much of, with plenty of leaking shots and the like, all of it done just too close up. Then guy number two gets Sorana to ride cowgirl, though the camera is moving around fast like they're trying to catch a car accident. He's supposed to pull out for the cumshot, but half lands on her ass cheek, half on the camera lens. And does she really need to lick the lens repeatedly afterwards?

It's just sloppy like that, as though a sitcom writer just took a half hour and had all catch phrases. They're trying to give us too much here without having any chemistry whatsoever with the talent, without having talent that looks interested, and without production work that really lets us appreciate them as anything other than bits and pieces.

The scene with the lovely Aliz suffers the same fate. No scene with this lovely woman should ever go to waste, but like Sorana's, the make-up has the stern thing going, though she too has an inviting outfit on (and a very inviting ass). Aliz goes for three guys, as settling for two seems so unambitious. I'm really not sure why she put on make-up and then we watched her for a bit, other than it sets up a dream sequence that is very hard to watch. It's deliberately washed out and for the most part, drained of colour. It's crash TV all over again, essentially. For some reason she's wandering around the outside of an abandoned warehouse, and is then basically fondled and is about to be when the doorbell wakes her up. Oh, look, it's three rather scary looking men, who, well, decide to her. What is the appeal of this again? They circle her, taking turns grabbing her throat or slapping her or pulling hair (or kissing, even), all the while as she leers at them with a mixture of revulsion and lust. An unsteady camera much too focused on close-ups (and with too many guys in the way) ruins it a bit more. If you can make it through all of that, maybe switch the sound off, too, as Euro male porn talk is excessively irritating. I could really do without the grabbing her by the lips and prying her eyes open, that sort of crap, too. This seems much more like abuse than erotic, and it isn't even set up with the kind of caveats that can make a bondage film enjoyable.

Slam It! would make a good film with the sound off and perhaps getting far enough into each scene to lose the very questionable premises. The female talent certainly knows what they're doing, even if the male talent is frequently over eager, the director is insensitive to the hilt, and the production quality is lower than average. There's good to be found here - such as in Aletta Ocean's scene as well as the work of Angelica Heart & Donna Bell - but you have to really want to find it.
