Will Ryder brings us a nostalgic porn parody masterpiece.

While many films and TV shows have been parodied in porn, none have tickled my fancy as much as NOT M*A*S*H, a film which combines the heavy-handed 'dramedy' of military hospital unit workers involved in the Korean War debacle during the 1950's and hardcore, deep-dick fucking. Many of the young watchers today of the original television series and big-budget film might not be aware, but the show was actually a long drawn out metaphor - not of the Korean conflict, but of the quagmire in Vietnam during the 1960's and 70's.

The film starts out with a brilliant 'porn-style' copyright-infringement-free instrumental version of the song, "Suicide is Painless", the song famously affixed at the beginning of each episode of the original series. We open into the film with a scene where our big-dicked version of Radar is having a pep-talk with The Colonel (Herschel Savage). My first reaction during this scene is how incredibly well casted this movie is. Jeremy Conway looks uncannily like the original series' Radar, and our porno Hot Lips (Krissy Lynn) is a near perfect semen-spitting image of Loretta Swit's famous portrayal of the character. Alec Knight as Frank Burns was a brilliant choice as well. The only beef I have at all with the casting is with the weird wig Eric Swiss wears in his imitation of Hawkeye. It is a bit unsettling in its gravity-defying properties.

The attention to detail with the set is beyond amazing. They must have spent a large portion of the budget on the settings, as a nearly identical operating room and tent-city have been built, including the infamous road sign. They even spent the time making the corkboards in Colonel Blake's office look humidity-damaged and aged.

In this wild tale the cast attempts Pyrrhic victory of helping Radar lose his virginity. Choppers fly overhead and victims appear suddenly as our group of docs and nurses work diligently to convince someone to with him, even if it means bribing them with better, hotter, sex. Moments of extreme dirty fucking are interspersed with bits of actual comedy and surprisingly great acting. One moment you will be laughing and the next you will be rock hard as hot blowjobs and canned laughter go hand in hand.

Given the time period this is supposed to be happening in, the mid-1950s, panty fans will be pleasantly aroused by the shots of the nurses in clean white panties and knee socks, hidden by their standard issue olive fatigues. Despite that, we are shown some modern, well-trimmed pubic hair, not a 1950's style bush in sight.

If you're looking for straight-to-fucking hardcore, this isn't the film for you. There is quite a build-up in comedic scenes before you get to the sexual interludes. But, if you are looking for a feeling of nostalgia, mixed with all those masturbational television fantasies of your youth, you have definitely come to the right unit. Will Ryder has directed, yet again, a perfect porn picture. Highly recommended.
