Steven St. Croix is one of the most widely recognizable male stars in the adult entertainment world, is a hall of fame performer and a legend in the industry. As a child, he was taught by his mother's church that sexual desire or thoughts about the opposite sex were wrong, which Steven feels influenced his decision to go into the porn industry. Before joining the business, St. Croix Steven started out working construction since he was 14. He worked several different jobs as a cook and even doing celebrity voice impersonations on a local radio morning show. Steven eventually made his way to Miami, Florida where he soon found work at a male strip club called Crazy Horse. He also danced at Le'Bare male revue in Ft. Lauderdale. St. Croix eventually found himself in Los Angeles at the request of a friend to help join his band. Unfortunately, the band fired its manager and Steven was left to work various jobs. Steven began working at an office selling adult films where he was offered a position as a production assistant on a film Ron Jeremy was directing. Early on in filming, a performer was arrested and production was halted in effort to try and find a replacement for him. The production team couldn't find anyone in time, so Steven offered to perform in the scene. And just like that, Steven's career in the business took off. St. Croix was known as the first male star to be signed to an exclusive contract for Vivid Video. St. Croix even had his penis insured for 1 million dollars by Lloyds of London after he purchased a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

In 2010, Steven left the adult film industry, only to return in early 2012. During this hiatus, St. Croix lived in Cannes, France and ran a small art gallery.

Aside from the adult film world, St. Croix has held Various small roles in television series like Baywatch, Babylon 5, Diagnosis Murder, Six Feet Under, The Client List, and Castle. Steven even had a role in the mainstream film 'The Girl Next Door' starring Timothy Olyphant, Elisha Cuthbert and Emile Hirsch.
