Twitter has traditionally been one of the more generous social media platforms when it comes to adult content. Unlike most other social media sites, Twitter has had a long-standing and refreshing anti-censorship policy that allows for porn stars, studios, companies, and fans to interact and share with each other without fearing the ultimate online punishment: a suspended account.

Recently, surmounting pressure from various pro-censorship groups have caused Twitter to automatically enable a "Safe Search" option on users' mobile devices. That means that if you're attempting to find adult-related updates on your Twitter, unless you manually modify your search settings Twitter will be automatically removing all of that content from your feed.

Luckily, disabling the Safe Search setting on mobile is pretty simple:

  1. Log in to Twitter with your username/password
  2. Click on the magnifying glass
  3. Search for your adult term (ie. "porn")
  4. When your search results page loads, click the overflow icon (three blue dots in a horizontal line)
  5. Select “Search Settings”
  6. Uncheck the box for “Hiding Sensitive Content”

...and that's it! Happy scrolling, and don't forget to follow @HotMovies on Twitter!
